CF InFlight’s Skycam: While watching the Bucs and Eagles tonight, my 13-year-old asked how they get those incredible flying camera shots that follow the players across the field. I did a little digging, and found this:

CF InFlight’s Skycam is a broadcast-quality robotic camera which is suspended from a cable-driven computerized transport system. It can fly anywhere in a defined three-dimensional space. … The Skycam is comprised of three main components: the broadcast camera, the cable suspension system, and the computerized transport system.

I’m sure this isn’t the only solution of its type out there, but it sure is slick!
