Blog Comment Spam Template

By Deane Barker on October 5, 2013

Some blog comment spammer’s posting mechanism malfunctioned, and what got posted to my blog (and flagged as spam) was the raw template.  It’s fascinating.  Within the curly braces, separated by pipes, you can see all the words that can be modified in order to provide enough variance to bypass filters.

{ {I have|I’ve} been {surfing|browsing} online more than {three|3|2|4} hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. {It’s|It is} pretty worth enough for me. {In my opinion|Personally|In my view}, if all {webmasters|site owners|website owners|web owners} and bloggers made good content as you did, the {internet|net|web} will be {much more|a lot more} useful than ever before.| I {couldn’t|could not} {resist|refrain from} commenting

The comment goes on like this for about 2,000 words. I suspect it picks a random paragraph among dozens in the comment.
