The YardBlog

I had a (probably stupid) idea while mowing my lawn the other day.

Having a successful blog is all about getting traffic and building up a community. But don’t most of us already have access to traffic, and don’t we already live in communities?

  1. I love this idea. I don’t want to get too philosphical on anyone, but this all comes back to the fact that blogs are about communications. “Blogging” isn’t so much a technical feat as it is a process of commnicating with others.

Do I think this would fly? Well, no. Maybe in San Francisco or somewhere, but I don’t think Sioux Falls is ready for it.

However, by outlining the concept, you’ve hit the whole point of blogging right on the head.
