Forcing Facebook’s Home Page to “Most Recent”

By Deane Barker on February 21, 2011

You know how you have to click “Most Recent” at the top of Facebook’s home page all the friggin’ time?   This drives me nuts.  Facebook somehow thinks it can infer what I want to read, which is ridiculous.

I learned a way around this today.  Simply change your Facebook bookmark to this:

That will force it to “Most Recent,” every time.  Very happy with this.

  1. Facebook is constantly trying to push people away from “most recent” to “most activity.” They piloted a version of the page recently where that wasn’t even available, and I was stuck with that for quite some time.
