Consumer Electronics Surge Ahead of Office Computers: More argument that Gateway’s push into consumer electronics is a good thing:

“The dichotomy underscores the harsher prospects for companies still tied to older computer businesses. Though pressure to cut prices is severe in most categories of electronics, companies riding the crest of personal digital entertainment products are benefiting most.”

Gateway is at $5.11 today, just off their 52-week high. I could have bought at $2.
