Datejs – A JavaScript Date Library: A fairly stunning Javascript date library that can parse human-readable date references (“last April 3”) into datetime values.

Comprehensive, yet simple, stealthy and fast. Datejs has passed all trials and is ready to strike. Datejs doesn’t just parse strings, it slices them cleanly in two.

I’d love to see a port of this into PHP, or a PHP-equivalent.
