Fundamental Questions When Selecting a CMS

By Deane Barker on March 24, 2008

This post is about three questions you have to answer before you can even go looking for a CMS. The answers to these questions will drastically narrow the pool of systems you can select from.

(On an editorial note, my level of comfort with these audio posts is decreasing. I suspect that I sound like one of two things:

  1. A bonafide expert
  2. A complete jackass

Please let it be the former…)

As always, if you’re looking at this in RSS, you can (1) visit the post itself to use the little Windows Mobile widget, (2) get the raw MP3 here, or (3) if Feedburner does what it claims, there should be an MP3 enclosure on this post in your RSS reader.

Which are some of the exact same points I made in my very first audio post. The format has some limitations, for sure. But I’ve committed to 24 of these, so expect 19 more of them.
