I knew it, I knew it, I knew it

Survey finds Apple users have sense of superiority — no wait, hear us out: Vindication is sweet.

[…] Apple users “are more liberal, less modest, and more assured of their own superiority than the population at large.” And this so-called survey says Apple users have high indexes for “low modesty,” “high perfectionism,” and “high superiority”?

Be a self-deprecating loser! Use a PC!

  1. Hold the phone, there bucko… The article says the survey was “conducted on 7,500 people at… Macworld. I’ve been to Macworld, and it’s definitely NOT attended by your average Mac user. Anybody who thinks that personality profile accurately describes the average Joe on the street who owns a Mac is either grasping for straws to justify an irrational contempt for the platform, or has been looking at a monochrome green-on-black computer screen too long.

    I’m just sayin’…

  2. Hey, Macs are marriage savers too! Before my wife had her Mac I used to help her whenever she ran into a problem with Windows. During that time she would complain that she needed something better than Windows…it was like I never left work. Now that we finally bought her an expensive MacBook Pro…things are different.

Now when she has a Mac, I simply reply “it’s a Mac…you’re not supposed to have any problems” and then I carry on with whatever I was doing. With her now owning the Mac I’m no longer the IT guy at home and it enables me to become the insensitive husband I’ve always wanted to be. Macs are great!
