I never knew about this until I Googled for it out of frustration this morning:


Doesn’t work for some:



  1. Really goes to how how Google goes beyond searching by incorporating useful information from search string. The Google Calculator is my favorite. It even accepts currency conversions, even within a parethesized calculation. For instance, the search string

    “(28.6 * 3.785) TWD in USD” multiplies the unit price per liter of gasoline into US gallons, and then displays the results in US dollars Very useful.
