Gmail for Domains

By Deane Barker on July 6, 2006

Gmail for your domain: Probably old news, but it looks like the rumored Gmail for Domains has happened.

This special beta test lets you give Gmail, Google’s webmail service, to every user at your domain. Gmail for your domain is hosted by Google, so there’s no hardware or software for you to install or maintain.

What This Links To

  1. This closed beta has been available for at least a few months now. Unfortunately they haven’t accepted my application so far. :-(

  2. Mine either :-/

Of course, it will only be REALLY useful once they start supporting IMAP access :-D

  3. Scary… My application has been with Google for quite some time now. Yet suddenly -just days after posting a comment here- I get accepted. Coincidence? ;-)
