Got Your Science Thinking Cap Handy?

Here is a article with a basic science quiz.

[…] Recently, several science gurus — Nobel Prize winners, institute heads, teachers and others who spend most of their time thinking about science — were asked, “What is one science question every high school graduate should be able to answer?”

Take their quiz and see how you do.

There is one question that I believe is a bit subjective, but overall an interesting quiz to see if you can recall some pretty basic concepts.

I got 7 out of 10 questions and the extra credit question correct. How about you?

  1. 9 of 10 and the extra credit for me. But, I’m a chemistry grad student. I better get most right (didn’t get the oldest fossil one).

  2. 9 of 10 and the extra credit. I’m still in high school so this information is fresh in my mind. Oh, and I’m the type who reads the entire book for the science course every day. :)

  3. 9 out of 10, plus the extracredit right. I did not know how old were the oldest fossils on earth, but I made a pretty good guess of 5 billion years.
