ISV Diaries

By Deane Barker on February 12, 2006

The ISV Diaries: This guy is starting his own software company, and he’s blogging the process from start to finish. So far he’s dealing with getting all the unglamourous infrastructure stuff set up — source code management and bug tracking.

The purpose of this blog is simple: I am going to try my hardest to give you a front-row seat for the whole process. Whether it’s writing code, selecting tools, designing a website, or managing the bills, I really want to give you a feel for everything that goes on from the earliest stages of conception, all the way through to supporting a finished product.

Unless I missed it, he hasn’t actually said what he’s building.

  1. Hey, I just wanted to say thanks for the mention. It’s cool to see how many people are already getting interested in what I’m doing. Also, as far as what I’m building, I haven’t mentioned it because I’m not 100% sure myself. I have made a couple posts regarding product selection in the last day or so, but I haven’t settled on anything concrete yet. So readers of the blog will even get to witness the decision process on that, and weigh in with their opinions.

    Thanks again for the link.
