I stumbled across this the other day: CaseSkins. These guys essentially make giant stickers that you can apply to your computer case to make it look cooler. They apparently even have some way figured out to prevent air bubbles from getting trapped under the skin during application.

Tired of your beige case? Want that custom air brushed look without all the hassles? Our CaseSkins are easy to apply, durable and look awesome.

While this is obviously a product targeted squarely at the LAN party crowd, it would be cool for a business as well. We’ve tossed around the idea of building a product that would ship as a preconfigured beige-box computer, but it would look so much more professional if the box had our logo on it and had a little pizzazz. Definitely a product to keep in mind.

Of course, if you think that skinning your computer is stupid, you can always theme your entire fridge.

  1. I ordered a skin for my laptop about a year ago.

It took almost a 2 months before the thing even arrived.

I could never get a hold of anyone at PolyGfx. It seems like this guy is just working out of his garagre during his spare time or something.

After I got the skin, my laptop does look much better!
