PageTrack – An easy alternative to RSS?: Interesting concept.

PageTrack is an easy way to keep track of web pages at home and at work. Unlike an RSS reader, PageTrack monitors whole web pages. By opening the pages in the user’s default browser, PageTrack allows the user to take maximum advantage of the visual cues and context arising from individual page designs.

In his forum post to announce this, he says:

I got fed up with the RSS readers I tried. Why? They turned all the designs and posts of a web page into a flat Outlook like mail item. Why was this a problem? I tend to form visual memories – the context and the surrounding web page helps me remember and helps forge my memory of an item. It also helps me find it again.
