Finally, something I can use my old DG machines and Twisted Sister records for!

TurntablistPC is an electronic and mechanical hybrid of turntable (gramophone) and an old personal computer.

This thing comes with 4 different versions so far. One of which is Counter Turn.

In this version the TurntablistPC is a server which third-party websites can use as a web-counter. A hit on the subscribing websites spins the record. The location of the website controls the direction of the spin. The location of the visiting user determines the amount of spin.

Could this be the sound of the next Radiohead album?
