The Commentator

Cenqua: The Commentator: Man, this is funny. It’s an app that automatically comments your code as you write it. You can set options for humor, FUD, profanity, etc. It gives you comments like this (these comments are with “humor” and “verbosity” cranked up, and “relevance” cranked down:

//okey dokey, lets sum the elements of a
int sum = 0; // the sum of all fears
for (int i= 0; i < a.length; i++) {
sum += a[i]; // all your a[i] are belong to us

Relax — it’s a joke. I think.

  1. I remember when I first saw this. I came upon it with the StumbleUpon extension and I was all ready to download it. Then I found out it was a joke and I almost cried. That would be the most useful utility ever. But alas.

  2. Damn, and I was willing to buy such an appplication :). But it is a good idea to develop one, save time for others ;)
