Blogger Abuse

By Deane Barker on April 23, 2005

Blogger is evidently a really easy way to set up and run search engine spamming campaigns. No Web development experience required.

All of the illustrated “blogs” were found under one user profile at blogger. As you can imagine, each page was a keyword-saturated pile of garbage…with affiliate links, of course.

This must be an amazingly efficient way of doing this. I’m sure this is just the tip of the iceberg.

  1. Of course. As you probably know, Blogger was bought out by Google a while ago, and I know from personal experience that changes to a Blogger blog cause an immediate reindexing by Google. So it makes it all that much easier.

  2. | all for adults and spammers. It is a shame of the digital age. Technorati says over a trilliaon blogs and some of them have to be good… that word “Some of them” says something…

most blogs are nothing but craps. they copy someone’s article and paste and make them as if they wrote everything by themselves.

In my country there is now law, all Nepalese pull one another’s leg by copying. I am really sick of this. I guess I need to do what they are doing, but haven’t done it yet! pull someone’s leg who has pulled mine!
