It’s About Time

General Motors just announced that the stereo in select vehicles released this year will have a feature I’ve been wishing for for a long time.

The new radios include an auxiliary channel and front mounted auxiliary input jack, so that an iPod or other audio source can be easily plugged in and played through the vehicle audio system.

How beautiful! All you need is an eighth-inch stereo patch cable to run between your dashboard and your iPod, laptop, CD player, DVD player, or whatever.

Now, how do I get my hands on one of those spiffy-looking Chevy HHR’s?
