Trigger v5

By Deane Barker on December 25, 2004

Trigger: Joe covered Trigger in a Friday diversion a few months ago. I got hooked on it and played it until my fingers bled.

The only drawback to the game was that the same old maps got boring. Well, version 5 has been released, and there are scads of new maps for downloading, as well as some guy who has written a program to generate six random maps every day.

Fun stuff. Now we just need more cars.

  1. I’ve been playing this for a couple of days now, and I think the entire physics model was switched around. The tracks are SO slippery now. Even at slow speed, the cars slide around like they’re on ice. Not nearly as fun to play.
