How to pick up and carry your iMac G5 In case you couldn’t figure this out for yourself Apple provides clear concise instructions. A couple of sad comments here. First, I have to believe that in order for Apple to take the time to write this up, more than one person had to have asked. Second, I’ve had to write some pretty obvious instructions for things on the web before, but I think I can actually hear the guy who wrote this still banging his head against his desk.

    Both sides. Hmmm. Now, would that be the front side and the back side of the ‘puter?

  2. This reminds me of the story I read years ago in a Pillsbury company newsletter. An employee was writing to ask why they put directions on a can of peas. (Open, pour into pan, heat) The answer was that they had taken the directions off once, and they started getting calls from apparently clueless customers. The newsletter writer then went on to write more obvious instructions. Something like, 1) open can, be sure to open one end only …….
