Free CliffsNotes

By Deane Barker on September 7, 2004

Make a Note of it: I love CliffsNotes. I’ve verified what’s below — it’s all free.

CliffsNotes, a boon or crutch for students, depending on your perspective, plans to announce Tuesday that its 180 literature guides can be read free at Students who want to download and print the guides will be charged $5.99, the same price as the printed version of the book. It’s part of a plan to attract more traffic to the Web site, which also promotes other study guides.
