Winning the War on Spam

Spam-Free at Last: This guy declared war on spam, and he managed to wriggle out from under it. He presents his techniques here, and there are a lot of them. He was slightly neurotic about it, but he managed to win…for now.

For approximately a month now I have been completely spam-free. This amazing feat is the result of a one-time cost of many hours of careful mailbox combing, email address rediscovery, a judicious use of dual-sided addresses for posting and receiving on mailing lists, and a kind of soul-cleansing I never really thought was possible.



  1. Check out If you own the domain you use for email, their service works great. And, you don’t need to keep constantly updating mailbox rules on your side. And if other people are using the domain, it works for them too. I can’t say enough about this service and how easy it was to implement and how much nicer life is now.
