Tech Radio
By Deane Barker on February 20, 2004
You know what we need? Tech radio. I’ve taken to listening to AM talk radio in the car lately. I like politics and current events and everything, but when I’m driving around town would be a perfect time for me to hear about the latest developments in open-source techology, new tech conferences around the country, upcoming developments in IT, etc.
We spend a lot of time in the car: let’s leverage that time into something we’re interested in. This should be an XM station, so everyone can get it. TechTV radio. I bet they have this in San Francisco.
Off The Hook
It’s a tech/hacker radio program out of New York but you can listen online at http://www.2600.com/offthehook/
dotNet Rock has a bi-monthly radio show: http://www.franklins.net/dotnetrocks/ It’s all about vb.net but very funny.
Check out Doug Kaye’s IT Conversations: http://www.itconversations.com
