LaTeX: It’s Not Just for Academia, Part 1: Here’s a good introduction to LaTeX. This has been another one of those acronyms I’ve heard many times but never bothered to go looking for.

LaTeX (pronounced Lah-tech) is a macro package written by Leslie Lamport. This macro package uses the typesetting functionality of TeX, but adds high-level abstractions that simplify the creation of documents.

Interesting, though I’m not convinced I should give up my word processor just yet.
