XML / XSL Support in FrontPage 2003

By Deane Barker on June 10, 2003

Microsoft Reinvents FrontPage, Tapping Into the Power of XML…: Microsoft may be looking to put XMLSpy and ArborText out of business with this one. There’s been a big hole in the low-end editor market for real-time XSLT editing. This could be huge.

“FrontPage 2003 will be the first commercially available, fully WYSIWYG Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformation (XSLT) editor in which users can work with live data to create interactive and dynamic Web sites, streamlining the process of sharing information on the Web.”

Note that this is a press release, so it’s not even remotely objective.
