Microsoft dominance of OS market grows, IDC study says: Everyone keeps saying that this or that will be “the thing that breaks the Microsoft monopoly.” They’ve been saying it about Linux for years, and I heard the same things about the Apple X-Serve. Sadly, none of that seems to be gaining traction. Windows Server 2003 installs seems to have actually gone up.
