Grossly Illegal Spam

By Deane Barker on September 23, 2003

What’s the deal with the blatantly illegal spams, these days? I’ve been getting spam that doesn’t even try to disguise its intentions.

“Are u carder? This site is a must-have for your bookmarks! * credit cards with cvv codes * trading * driver licenses”

That was nothing compared to this one:

“Real CP site. About 15,000 photos with small girls. Hot actions with small girls and boys”

I forwarded this last one to the FBI, though I doubt that will do much good. Where are these coming from? Is anyone else getting these?

  1. Another one today…

“In private section we exchange CC with CVV and without it…”

The CVV is the three-digit code on the back of the credit card (CC) that you need for mail order purchases.
