Apple and Creative Settle

Apple to pay $100M to Creative in settlement: It’s interesting that Apple is settling a case on IP.

Apple said it will pay $100 million for a license to use Creative’s patented technology in its iPod music player, settling all legal disputes between the two companies.

Jobs made this statement which takes a tidy final shot at Creative:

“Creative is very fortunate to have been granted this early patent,”

$100 million fortunate, it turns out.
