Google Trends: This new toy from Google lets you enter terms separated by commas and it will graph their search popularity over time.
I’m going to demonstrate this by comparing Chris Daughtry and Katherine McPhee in this graph which proves there is no way on God’s green Earth that Chris Daughtry should have been sent home last night on American Idol.

Just for fun, look at this chart: http://tinyurl.com/qcped

I just showed this to a friend, and she asked what would happen if you threw Taylor Hicks in the mix; judging by the graph, Taylor should’ve beat out both of them.

Ahhh but try spelling Katharine’s name correctly, and put her name first for this result. Katharine wins.
-
But by mispelling her name, Chris wins. If I don’t know otherwise, then it’s true.
-
If you look at the graph, the correct and incorrect way of spelling Katharine’s name have twice as many hits as the other contestants. http://tinyurl.com/z7g3e

I am getting very angry at your attempt to shove reality in my face. In my world, Chris wins and was dealt a huge injustice last night. I would like to stay in this world. Do not disturb me here.

“I reject your reality and substitute my own!”
