Today, Goobuntu is only a nickname for a Google inhouse customization of Ubuntu, and not something to be released anytime soon, it seems :

I'd heard about the in-house distro before, and the fact that they never planned to release it. But, truth be told, this article had me going until this line: "The origin of the word 'Goobuntu' is not clear, though it does not appear in online Zulu dictionaries."
That's when I decided the credibility of the entire article was shot.
