Disney and Pixar Deal is (Finally) Official

Disney buys Pixar: Talk of this has been raging for weeks now.

Walt Disney has announced that it is buying Pixar, the animated studio led by Apple head Steve Jobs, in a deal worth $7.4 billion.

Here’s a link to this same rumor we published back in December 2003, for goodness sakes.

Jobs is now a member of the Disney board. I hear they have puppy-kicking parties

Looks like Cars will be the last good Pixar movie.
