Introducting the concept of a “filterblog”: a blog that filters a single, large body of content to extract that content of value to a particular audience.

I just made the word up, but I bet it could work.

It is a great idea, but I think to be successful it will have to hit a wider domain than a single site. For example: www.larkware.com is one of my favorites because it aggregates many different resources.
