Patterns in Interaction Design: Here’s a good list of a lot of the UI patterns and site types you see around the Net. You know, things like flyout menus, site maps, advanced search, etc. For each, it shows an example and discusses when and where you’d want to use them.
I found it via webpatterns.org, but that site seems pretty incomplete. And I found the entire topic via a post over at Digital Web Magazine.
(I don’t think any of this should be confused with my treatise on functional design patterns, since all of these are concerned with UI. I think I was just talking about data and object models. I think.)
