Gadgetopia

I don’t know about you, but I find myself in way too many meetings that last way too long and I quickly become way too bored. Then my fingers start looking for things to do, and I end up making crude origami birds or paper airplanes from the meeting agenda or various scraps of paper that happen to be within reach. A colleague I once worked with always sat in meetings doing some amazing tricks with his pen, something that kept him somewhat occupied but wasn’t overly distracting to others (except me, especially if I was seated across the table from him.) I was never able to master his art, but always tried.

Today I stumbled across Pentrix, a website devoted to instructing wannabe pen spinners on the finer points of the art. Step by step instructions and videos on most tricks should get most people going. Too fun!
