Wallpaper Heaven

Cool Wallpapers Gallery for your desktop: I’m not big on desktop wallpaper, but my wife likes it. I was searching for something for her to replace Jason Momoa of North Shore (ever since it was cancelled, it’s too depressing to contemplate) when I found this site.

Any site that has enough wallpaper to include one of a housefly is doing pretty good. I’ll take a stab in the dark and say there are 5,000 wallpaper files here, all categorized.

It would be a nice site, if it wasn't for the ton of pop-ups, and the fact that one of the pop-ups that I got really, really, really wants to install some software to make my browsing experience all the more beneficial....

Having to use IE instead of Firefox in work is the pits!

I like that the site dz mentioned sorts by predominant color in the wallpaper.

There's always DeviantArt.com of course, which has around 12 million images, most of which are wallpaper. Customize.org also has a huge selection.

Florian Freundt (florian.freundt.org) does some really cool vector art too. "South of Sausalito" has been my wallpaper for some time.

The other site I like to use is www.wincustomize.com, they have a decent selection of wallpapers, too.
