I love lifting the curtain on enterprise content management systems. I was reading a News.com story when I found this snippet of text (emphasis added):
“SAP, the world’s leading business software company, news:link id=”1015837”>launched an advertising campaign”
Looks like an XML link tag that someone forgot to open? Or is this a proprietary templating language of some kind? News.com is big on inline links to past stories, so it’s interesting to see how they handle it from a CMS perspective. Last I remember, News.com ran on Vignette.
