Oracle May Drop PeopleSoft Bid Over Refund Offer: Looks like PeopleSoft’s poison pill may succeed in the end.

“Oracle Corp. says it may be forced to abandon its hostile $7.3 billion bid for PeopleSoft Inc. if the Pleasanton, Calif., software company continues to offer its customers licensing-fee refunds in the event Oracle succeeds, Tuesday’s Wall Street Journal reported.”
